The Leadership Practices Inventory

The Leadership Challenge® is founded on over 40 years of research by leadership experts James Kouzes and Barry Posner. They discovered that leaders who practice The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® are generally more effective. Teams led by such leaders report greater commitment and influence, leading to improved job satisfaction, talent retention, and sales performance.

  • Participants complete the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI®) assessment to gauge their engagement in exemplary leadership behaviors and gain valuable insights.
  • Participants also receive personal, quarterly LPI Development Calls with a Certified LPI Coach to enhance their application of the Five Practices

SLII (Situational Leadership)

Blanchard's SLII is the world's most widely taught leadership development program, emphasizing the link between a leader's style and their team's development level. It asserts that effective leadership should be tailored to the unique needs and maturity of team members. SLII offers leaders a way to evaluate their team's abilities and modify their leadership strategies to improve overall effectiveness and performance.

  • The SLII Assessment identifies a leader's preferred leadership "style," which may include directing, coaching, supporting, or delegating, along with the frequency of utilizing the other three styles.
  • The SLII Program features interactive activities designed to assist leaders in integrating SLII concepts into their everyday practices, enhancing both leadership capability and team performance.

Leading People Through Change

Based on 30 years of real-world change leadership consulting experience and research, Leading People Through Change® teaches leaders how to lead successful change initiatives by involving others throughout the change process. Collaborative conversations allow challenges and concerns to be identified early for people to understand why the change is needed, what to change, and how to do it. This high-involvement approach decreases the feeling of being controlled and builds momentum for the change.
